Longer shelf life
With the new Super Lock package food manufacturers can now achieve a shelf life of up to 24 months. This is due to extremely low oxygen transmission obtained with a new oxygen barrier. This means that the Super Lock product can stay on the shelf twice as long – or even three times longer than the reference packages. The new Super Lock packaging has many advantages, while giving the end user the visual impression and the feeling of glass commonly used in food packaging.
Barrier protection on all surfaces
An extraordinary feature of the new Super Lock pack is that barrier protection is available on all surfaces. Super Lock is membrane sealed and has a click-on screw cap for a perfect re-closure and reuse. The lid is clicked lightly on the filling line. The resealable package emits an audible click when the lid is closed properly. Both the user and the product is extremely bra.br> The combination of oxygen barrier on all surfaces and a membrane seal provides almost no oxygen transmission.
Great branding opportunities
Super Lock makes it possible to use IML (In-mold labeling) in very good quality, with razor-sharp decoration. In combination with the plastic’s transparency package provides therefore an excellent branding platform. Packaging producer may thus choose it have decorations made anywhere on any surface. Even choose to also have a place that is not decorated.
Packaging with a huge potential
There are many compelling arguments for using plastic packaging: plastic, dramatically reducing the noise on the filling line and is also handy for hot filling. Further, it is unbreakable, it is stackable and contributes to reduced storage requirements and transportation costs.
Super Lock is a new generation of award-winning packaging, now specifically designed to meet the requirements for the barrier protection. The outstanding results of laboratory tests, combined with exceptional qualities make plastic into a very promising package with enormous potential.
